Workshop Format



The suggested workshop will be a full day workshop in the following format:

09:00 – 10:00

An invited talk about state of the art in ubiquitous user modelling

10:30 – 12:30

First session with short presentations of papers/ideas (about 10 minuts per speaker)

12:30 – 14:00

Demonstration and posters session of ubiquitous user modelling applications (during lunch break)

14:00 – 15:30

Second session discussion of the 1st sesseion papers, forming list of research topics,
breaking to small groups discussions of the selected topics

15:45 – 17:00

Closing discussion about research directions of ubiquitous user modelling
and possible collaboration among the workshop participants in pursuing the defined research directions

* At least one of the authors of an accepted paper is expected to register to the workshop (separately than IUI conference), attend the workshop and present the paper/poster/demo.
